Our Story

Anna Philipson, founder and CEO

Good Accelerator is on a mission to help other leaders drive sustainable change.

If I could go back thirty years in time and give myself a gift, it would be the gift of knowing what I know today, and the gift of having a friend beside who had walked the path before to help me out. A friend to share both the burden and a few laughs with. And this is what Good Accelerator is about for me.

Leading transformation, growth and change has been my craft for almost three decades in different types of companies. Sometimes as a CEO, sometimes heading large business units with hundreds and thousands of people and sometimes as a changemaker in specific projects. It’s almost always been a turbulent journey, often lonely and challenging, but at the same time deeply rewarding once you get it right together with the people around you.

I’ve always been curious about how to drive change in the smartest way. Lean, agile, design thinking, behavioral science, brain research; the list of knowledge and methods is long and I have pretty much tried them all. I’ve learned the hard way that the closer methods are to what’s natural to people, the smoother the change journey is. Leading sustainable change is like getting a shoal of fish going where we all head in the same direction, adapt and change whenever needed and use the power of every little fish to take on the big sharks.

Good Accelerator comes from an honest feeling that what we as leaders do is important – especially in our times of big and rapid change. If we can help other leaders get that shoal of fish going and they in turn can help other leaders to do the same, we’ll create a positive, never-ending spiral where people and business develop together.

That’s what the Good Acceleration is about. Welcome to join!

Johanna Philipson Behavioral science student, skilled communicator and creative

“I’m just so glad there’s something left to do. As many others of my generation, I’ve sometimes felt everything has already been done. But once you start digging downwards, into the true need, you realize there’s enormous potential to be released.  When we turn toward instead of away from obstacles, they become openings. For people to step in and take responsibility, find their place and create value with others. They become hope! Because: there’s something left to do. And once you start to go downwards like that, digging deeper and deeper, that potential never really dries up. But even more: that’s the place where we can really meet each other.”

“The gap, it’s all about how to maneuver the gap between here and where we want to be. All teams, especially management teams, need to set common ground in order to reach ‘One Voice’. Most importantly, as individuals, they must learn to separate the ideas from the identity of the person discussing them, and find the one thing they as a team can all agree on and go from there. Hear all, disagree, decide your common ground, buy-in…One Voice.”

Stina Treven
CEO, Board Director and changemaker in entrepreneurial companies

”As CEO in different entrepreneurial driven companies, I’ve experienced how it is to face a world in extremely rapid change, a development that we can’t stop but must find ways to adapt to. Despite the success of our companies, I many times felt that I was missing both the right tools and the methods for this. That’s why it’s so great to now be a part of Good Accelerator, where we’ve gathered so much good knowledge, methods and tools to help other leaders and organizations to handle these challenges and create successful businesses with healthy, happy co-workers.”

Anna Philipson
Business transformation, CEO and executive leader in large organizations

”My craft is to lead in a large scale with thousands of people in rapid change. In a work life that mostly has felt like a tornado of turbulent change, I’ve truly felt what a difference it makes when we build companies and people sustainably in the long-term. To first focus on the people and from there build a positive spiral where each and every one do the right thing by their own power – alone and together with others – changes and simplifies everything. When you get that going it creates a tremendous force. And when you don’t everything turns to shit. I’m fulfilled by the difference the right leadership makes. For people, for business and for the world.”
